The melody is from "jesaig", by breton musician Gilles Le Bigot, composed in the late 70's.
He played among other things in a band called Barzaz. You can find Jezaig/Jesaig on his other band Galorn self title album from 1978

The Celts is the collective term for the people inhabiting (what we now know as) Ireland, Great-Britain, the northern edge of Spain, France, bits of Belgium; basically western and cental-eastern Europe, from about 800 BC till the fall of the Roman Empire in 476. The Romans called the Celts living in present-day France "Galli", and we derived the word "Gauls" from that. In other words, all Gauls were Celts, but only the (continentally) westernmost Celts were Gauls.
