I was there in London, Ontario in 2013. I recall buying my ticket from a scalper. And yes, it was the best skating performance I had ever seen. After she landed her final double axel, everyone leapt out of their seats. I stood there mute in disbelief, utterly stunned by the perfection that had been displayed. It was as if Yuna had cast a spell on the audience. That night was a surreal religious experience. BTW, I find it incredibly tacky Adelina Sotnikova carbon copied Yuna's end pose from this program for Sochi.

My daughter has had the 2024 Olympics hang over with Simone Biles. So she asked me who my favorite athlete is, and i showed her this video..☺️ this performance always makes me want to cry!🥹

No skater since her has had the same quality. They may have have bigger jumps and combinations, but the way she executed all her jumps, the way she really connected with the programme and the audience, and her dedication to the art form; I haven't seen another skater since her pull it off quite to the same effect that she has.

i think she is the very best in the entire history of skating... not just in the world currently... she's got EVERYTHING... grace, artistry, technical perfection, beauty... :)

It's incredible how high she jumps, yet how smooth and effortless her landings are... It's going to be a long time before someone of her calibre emerges. She will be missed.

This was better than Vancouver. Not as technically difficult as her 2010 masterpiece, but artistically you see her growth.

Honestly, I thought Gracie and Julia were the best skaters out there but all it took was one video, this video, and now I'm absolutely convinced that Yuna Kim is the BEST skater. I'm mean she's doing moves I have never seen any other skater do. Great job Yuna, you deserve it.

OMG She looks so elegant and she looks like she's floating when she jumps or spins. She truly is the queen

in Sochi, Sotnikova may have gotten the gold medal, but queen Yuna was the one who captured the hearts of millions of people all over the world with her flawless and beautiful last performance of her career.

Kim Yuna will always be known as the queen of ice.

Every year I came back to watch this performance. To this day there is not such a fluent, elegant, smooth skater as her.❤

We won't ever get a majestic performance like this anymore, her flawless technique, how she felt the music, the choreo...
I miss how figure skating used to be, miss having Yuna, Carolina and Mao competing against each other... truly the golden age of women's figure skating.

whoever choreographed this piece deserves a medal too - smart choice of music, has a great range and variety within the music and beautifully choreographed. and yuna is just brilliant

Am I the only one about to cry over here?
By the way, no way Sotnikova is EVER gonna get even CLOSE to this sublime performance (or anything Yuna has done), so screw those judges.
Long live Queen Yu-Na.

Performance of the ages.

Nobody in today can draw the audience like Yuna Kim.

The greatest performer I've seen in women skating

This woman makes the Triple Lutz + Triple Toe soo elegant and easy. Good grief, that ain't an easy move to do. I'm saddened that I only found interest in watching this sport when she's already set to retire after the Winter Olympics at Sochi :(
