Drawing a Labyrinth Border

I'm excited to participate in Valentangle 2020 this year! I decided to create a labyrinth border and, each day of Valentangle, I'll draw the suggested tangle within the labyrinth.

I started with an Opus Renaissance Zentangle tile, measuring 10 1/2 inches square. Here are the steps I followed:

1. Draw a 3/4 inch border.
2. Draw diagonals from corner to corner to locate center of paper.
3. Draw 7 concentric circles. I used a ruler to measure the compass opening to 5/8 inch for the first circle, adding another 5/8 inch for each additional circle.
4. I used a protractor to mark every 60 degrees, marking the circle into 6 sections.
5. Draw straight lines marking location of labyrinth curves.
6. Use compass to create curves.
7. Use compass to draw circles inside the curves.
8. Draw the path of the labyrinth in pencil.
9. Draw the path of the labyrinth in pen, erasing pencil.
10. Draw internal borders in the spaces between labyrinth path.

Love the finished look but very hard to follow. Would also love to see how you then tangled in it
