It should continuously record and save the 'incidents' into a separate folder. When the 'continuously record' folder becomes full, older clips will be written over.

The other quick way to save a dash cam is press the right steering wheel button and say "save that".

is there no way to make it loop record everything like a traditional dashcam would? i really didn't know you have to manually save it until today (delivery day). this is really dumb UX.

I have found it hit and miss (maybe my error...) I was getting chased by a truck, boxed in by a slow car in front with no safe place to overtake and get going. I manually saved the incident but it didn't capture the second half of the incident. Secondly I used save on honk one time. When a car was rolling back into me at lights. It didnt save ANYTHING after the honk.
I wish it would just record everything on a loop regardless. I have replaced the USB from day one and used a Samsung SSD.

I'm still not clear if the Dashcam records continuously while driving or only when in incident occurs? I want it to always record in case there is another important situation like another vehicle being hit or a pedestrian, God forbid.

So if i set the recording auto and also enable honk, then it will do auto record but in addition to auto record it ll record the videos i want other than auto record’s right? Otherwise i ll disable honk and leave auto record on. 🙏

doesn't really work.. i set mine on manual and honk. i pressed the icon and didn't get a notification... just in case, , i honked the horn hoping that would save a 10 min clip... no 10 min clip of what i was looking for... just 27 seconds of after i honked.

Hmm, you mentioned a USB drive in the glove box, I checked and I don't have one, also, when I go through the camera, it says full. Is the usb drive something I have to add afterwards or is it suppose to be included? If it's an aftermarket USB, is there a recommended one? It get's pretty hot where I am, peaking about 120F in the summer. Ive checked the app a few times and noticed that it get's over 150f - 170f inside the car.
