Kind of hits home a bit. I've been stuck trying to help my parents, my dad just got through with a nearly two-month hospital stay, and he's still not completely better. Meanwhile, the person I love is quite a drive away, and is a teacher, so her recurring indirect exposures to covid keep happening just as soon as we think I can come home for a little while. I have to be able to come back to help him with appointments, and I can't risk spreading anything to him. But I wish I were on my way home.
