The 2024 Dodge Demon 170 ($96,666 starting in the US, $130,890 starting in Canada) is the fastest, most powerful, most baddest version of a Hellcat ever. It’s been set up from the factory to be a 1025 hp drag-racing king, with a claimed 0-60 mph time of just 1.66 seconds on a prepped surface. The Demon 170 also even received an NHRA “ban” for running a sub nine second quarter mile without a roll cage or parachute. But with major changes to the engine, suspension, and drive train, and with big Mickey Thompson drag radials, how does it drive on the road? As someone from Eastern Europe, the principle behind American products and behaviour is often weird to me. Unnecessarily extravagant, flamboyant, BIG, so much power it can't even remotely be called useful anymore. This car is the ultimate incarnation of these principles. And I can't not love it to death for it.

Owning one of these is a dream that most likely will never come true for someone like me, but even being alive in a time where I can see and listen to this monster - even if just through a Youtube video - is something I'm utmostly grateful for. Americans, you're friggin crazy, and thank God for that.

Literally any of the Hemi Challengers are truly a pleasure to drive. The 345 and 392 cars with a manual transmission are an absolute blast, and are overlooked because they aren't "fast", compared to the supercharged models. I assure you, they are both more than powerful enough to enjoy every day.
