Fluid Art Pouring Wrecked Fantasy Straight Pour Ring Pour 18x24 Heart Inspiration Valentine's Day Easy Acrylic Pour Anthroquinone Blue Quinacridone Crimson Deep Violet Cobalt Violet 24K Gold
Hello Friends!
Valentine's Day is coming! Today we are doing another Wrecked Ring Pour (inspired by Molly of Molly's Artistry). I really like this technique, so many really beautiful effects happen as a result of 'wrecking it'!
This video was filmed right after "Make Love Not War', Im using up the rest of the paint in my cups for this pour.
My colors are:
Golden's
~Permanent Deep Violet
~Anthraquinone Blue
~Quinacridone Crimson
~Iridescent Copper
~Quinacridone Violet
(correction:Golden's Cobalt Violet, not Quinacridone Violet) oops!
DecoArt Americana Decor
~Metallics 24K Gold
~Satin Enamels Pure White mixed with Artists Loft Flow Acrylics White
My Pouring Medium is:
~Liquitex Glossy Medium & Varnish
~Water
~Floetrol
There is no silicone in my paint.
I layer my cup carefully down the side, keeping contrast in mind.
I do a Fantasy Pour (Straight Pour and Ring Pour Combined), and then put a ring of thinned out gold around the pour as a flow extender. I do put down white around the pour and spread it to the edges to help my paint slide easy. I use one of my stir sticks to 'wreck' the ring pour.
I tilt to cover the canvas and then focus on the composition that I want.
Early on in the tilting I see a heart shape, and tried to keep that intact as much as possible. I like that its not immediately a heart to your eye, that you see it after a moment or two.
I really enjoyed this pour, I love these colors and the Deep Violet in between the colors. I think this would be a great pour for Valentine's Day, especially for someone just starting to pour.
Thank you all for watching! I hope you enjoyed this video. Please join me in sending a big 'Thank You' to Molly for this very fun Wrecking technique! 😊 Check out her channel here:
