Love these 40fps modes.

Im fortunate enough to have PS5 and XSX and XSX does 120hz/40fps or any “fragile” graphics mode a little better because VRR kicks in at a lower frame rate and XSX tends to resolve dynamic resolution at a higher average.

So even though XSX often doesn’t run as smoothly as PS5, that doesn’t matter at all in VRR so I’ll wait for Digital Foundry but it’s looking like an Xbox purchase for me so far.

Pleasantly surprised to see a 40 FPS quality mode. I loved that mode in GOW and will almost certainly be using that mode.

I just started star wars outlaws and for some reason, I can't find the 40fps mode in settings

Do you need a VRR capable monitor/tv for the 40 fps mode?

Graphics as such look solid, no doubt. But what doesn't look good is image quality. Even the 30fps quality mode with the "highest" dynamic res looks pixelated, noisy and shimmery whenever you start moving or turn the camera around - just like in Avatar : Frontiers of Pandora. FSR doesn't work well with such low resolutions. A potential PS5 pro patch could mitigate these issues by cranking up DRS and using PSSR instead of FSR.

My game graphics look horrible. Like a 2015 game. I have a brand new 65’ oled LG (hdr). Can somebody help me out? I have no idea how to get nice graphics. Pre ordered deluxe version for 150$. Very frustrated!!! I feel robbed

I'm getting the game for my birthday and I'm probably going to switch between favor quality and performance mode. From what I have seen from this video, I honestly don't mind the worse areas on Tatooine, I feel like some of the blurry stuff that I saw makes it feel like heat haze and I quite like it. I don't like the water textures but at least it isn't some game breaking bug. (My opinions may change when the game releases just FYI.)

I got mine yesterday, how does it looks soo smooth and the image soo stable for you ? Mine is full of shimmering, flickering, artifacts, ghosting, popins and other visual glitches that make it unplayable.

I really enjoyed Avatar Frontiers of Pandora so I couldn't expect less from Massive Studio
