I got the battle damaged stickered x wing with my birthday money at toy shop in the town centre I had the x wing Luke to go with it.

There are also 3 or 4? versions of the tiefighter, 2 versions of darth vaders tie, 2 versions of the tie interceptor

Was there also a later grey version of the X-Wing from Palitoy? If I remember correctly, my one on Christmas 1982 was from Palitoy (very sure) with sound, light and the matt colour Artoo. And there were no "Damaged X-Wing" stickers.

I’ve just brought a palitoy 1977 it’s got everything the palitoy model should have but on the base it says Kenner not palitoy is this still correct ?

Did Palitoy change the stamping on the underside of the ship throughout the years or did it stay the same? I just picked up one and there is no date stamp as there is on the US version. On the underside it says "Kenner Products Inc. Cincinnati, Ohio U.S.A."
