I followed your advice on one of your videos about two years ago (I don’t remember which one) and I set up my Roth IRA with Fidelity. My Roth IRA grew about $1500. This is without me adding any additional funds since then. Thank you!!

I've just begun learning about value investing, and I've found that many good stocks are undervalued despite their intrinsic value. If you had $200, 000 to create a strong investment portfolio, which stocks would you choose for better returns?

I love that you’re trying to make sense in all the noise that happens with investing. Any investments carries risks, you can diversify, but you can also over diversify; stifling your potential growth. Setting a wide net will catch the most fish but not the fish you want. Having a basket may be a better option.

I just started with fidelity and bought ETFs such as SPYD and Charles Schwab and VYM as a start. My question is with those dividends you get can you reinvest and how much?

Agreed... plus give your kids a head start by investing for them. Yes, invest in their future education, first car, etc. but instead of things for yourself, squirrel money into an ETF from Day 1 for each child and transfer in the future. No, you do not have to be rich - why have kids if you can't help them have a good start in life. Choices.

ETFs offer exposure to a wide range of assets, such as stocks, bonds, or commodities, which can help reduce risk. ETFs, like broad market index, sector-specific, and bond ETFs, are favored for long-term investments because of their diversification, reducing risk while offering growth and income potential.

So since this is for when you are young. What if you are 40, what would you do from the start? Up until now I've had jobs where I was in survival mode and lived paycheck to paycheck. I finally have got to a spot in life where I can afford to live AND invest. What would be the best start. I'm already investing in a 401k at my company and it's set up through fidelity. Which it's investing into the S&P 500. I'm also putting small amounts into crypto like meme coins and payment coins. I just feel like there's more I can do to make this faster.

What about SDIV?
It pays monthly, a little high on fees 0.8% but has a 10% dividend yield at 0.19/share and 23/share cost

Finally a youtube short with a decent stratergy yes its boring butthat pretty much the piont when its your own money. Lower risk and spread out the stocks you hold.

I like all 3 etfs, but theres alot of overlap for one portfolio. 85% of QQQ and 48% of SCHD are in VOO.

What do you think of VGT instead of QQQ???

IOO (50%), SEMI (40%) and HACK (10%). 27% return over last 12 months. So far so good but I’m still looking at different options to add to my portfolio.

This is the modern adaptation of the 3 fund portfolio that Warren Buffett suggested way back then. One track the market (SP500), one for growth (QQQ) and a “slow boring” one for stability (SCHD). Got this from another YT channel called Professor G. This is literally my portfolio rn and it’s been more profitable since I started doing this 1 year ago vs years of attempting to trade! Good stuff bro!!
