I learned to play this beautiful song when my dad was passing. We didn't have enough money to hire a caretaker so my brother and I took turns caring for him. It was the most beautiful and tragic time of my life, seeing his body waste away from brain cancer. I remember sitting on the bed with him after I bathed him and cutting his finger nails and thinking about how he used to cut my finger nails when I was a child. Now he was my child and I was seeing him through. What a blessing it was to be there when he took his last breath.

Today I went to the funeral for a dear Christian friend who died at the age of 47 due to cancer. Her life was a beautiful testimony to the grace of God.and her steadfast faith in Him. At the beginning of the service this song was played. It set the theme and the tone of the service.
