I just made the filling but wondering why it’s grainy? Wouldn’t be better if we heat the egg with the sugar + apple cider packets? So it would melt because now I’m afraid to over mix the filling with butter because it’s grainy from the apple cider powder. I hope it makes sense

I’m willing to bet the reason you’re not getting the same taste as the apple cider packets is because those have powdered apple juice in them and that’s usually not something that you will find on a spice shelf.
