Giga Berlin | 2022-01-28 | Scrapped Bodies

The road south of the main building is taking shape (6:00) as well as the road north of the supply buildings (14:20) and the southern parking lot (0:26). On top of the lobby the construction of walls for the rooftop pavilion started (3:45) and another graffiti art is getting sprayed on the next stairwell (6:40).
The roof structure of the waste water treatment building is almost finished (9:30, 16:16) and roof construction started at the central utility building (11:40, 16:00). A new tent and more Model Y appeared in the northern parking lot (13:10) and some scrapped bodies appeared in a storage area (15:00).
The first wall panels have been installed at the cell production building (17:40, 21:21) and a lot of new beams have been place at the south end of the building (17:53). At 24:17 i expect the construction of another infiltration basin soon.

The graffity looks awesome, even behind the plastic. This alone will make this such an iconic place in Germany and a wonderful homage to the Berlin graffity art culture.

Ich habe mir ja so ziemlich alle Videos von dir angeschaut. Bitte sei so nett und filme auch mal ab der Spree, über das Gewerbegebiet mit dem neuen Radweg bis zur GF. Überhaupt, für außenstehende ist es bestimmt sehr interessant, in welcher Umgebung die Fabrik gebaut wird und wie weit der Ort Grünheide tatsächlich entfernt ist.

Auch ein An- Flug vom Bahnhof, über das neue Umspannwerk entlang der Schienen wäre sicher interessant.
Das schreibe ich ja deshalb, weil ich ja alles schon per Fuß & Rad abgelaufen und abgefahren bin.

It looks like all those castings and partially assembled frames are total rite off's, i know they can and will be recycled.. but there must be a lot of down time going in to produce these pieces i know all these new techniques require time to bed in and be perfected, and probably the old style assembly techniques have the same problems.. but when the problems are sorted the whole show will be SUPER EFFICIENT.

Surprised at how far behind Texas the build of the entire plant is. It seems to go beyond just the permits. What slowed them down?

Great footage as always Tobias. Are most of the cars for people working outside or inside the building?
When will the new train station for Tesla employees be ready? This should reduce the parking space for employees.
It seems that Tesla is being a good corporate citizen and doing things to make it easy for the employees.
It will be interesting to see when Giga Berlin can ramp-up production to its installed capacity.
