Google My Business Profile Add Multiple Locations - Second Location

You can add multiple listings to your Google my business profile by adding another listing in the settings tab. You need to be careful that you create this duplicate listing correctly so that you don’t get suspended. Lots of companies are creating multiple Google my business profile, listings incorrectly and getting suspended. There are a couple of rules that Google wants you to follow when creating multiple listings.

When you are in the interface of your Google, my business profile, you can click on the three dots and it will say add new listings. This is where you can add multiple listings to your existing Google my business profile. You need to make sure to keep the name of the business exactly the same of what your previous listing is. It’s also very important that you have the main category the same as your existing listing.

It is very possible to create a Google my business profile with multiple locations. But like I said before, just be sure to follow my instructions so that you don’t get suspended for doing it incorrect.

I was hoping that I could link them together. We're opening a 2nd studio location in another city. I followed your directions and it looks like it set up a completely new profile where I'll need to get new reviews, add new photos etc., Is there no way to link them together?

Unfortunately it does not help if your Client just has several small Locations to work from to be near a Customer ... at the Moment you just can't collect all Ratings in one Placed / under the Main-Profile which would be the Goal ... Or did I miss something?

Thanks for sharing! When following along you emphasize making a new address. After entering in the new address the next question is "Is this your business?" and then shows the name and address of your other listing. Should we be choosing that? or saying this doesn't match and continue on with your recommendation? Also, is this just the preferred method to get better search engine recognition compared to using the 'business group' method to add multiple locations? Thanks!

Thank you so much for this great video! I am not clear on the creation of a sub page for the website that is linked to the google listing? Why is it necessary to create a sub page as opposed to linking the second address to the Home or About page? Or even the Services page?
