Tone Sessions: Willie Adler & Triple Crown™ TC-100™

We recently sat down with Lamb of God guitarist Willie Adler to discuss his use of the Triple Crown™ TC-100™ and how he secretly toured and recorded with the Triple Crown during it’s R & D.

Willie discusses his approach to the Triple Crown’s features for the highly technical playing and tone blending of dual guitars with Mark Morton to create the Lamb of God sound. He also touches on specific features like the Tight/Normal switches in the Gain channels to tighten low frequencies while increasing clarity and detail in higher frequencies, especially for detuned and extended range music. Willie also covers adding the Mesa Grid Slammer Overdrive and Five-Band Graphic EQ pedals for added tone shaping and signature Tone.

Does he still use these live? I feel like they plug other Mesa amps but still use Mark IV’s a lot live. Mark was promoting that royal Atlantic or whatever a lot but I don’t know if he uses them currently. They need to do another rig rundown somewhere lol
