I clicked on this not knowing what DDNP was, and 5 minutes later, I'm 98% confident I'm on some sort of watchlist.

Combining a face reveal with a manual on making explosives is an interesting combination...

Haven't even watched it yet, and all I can say is, "Here's a man who really trusts plastic collapsible tables."

Back in the 80's, our school's chemistry lab supply had a bottle of liquid picric acid dry out during the summer when no one was there. Something caused it to fall off the shelf and explode when it hit the floor, taking out the supply room and parts of a classroom.

Watching this was totally worth getting put on a watch list.

I enjoy how smooth this looks because of the 60fps

I do find it kind of amusing that to make an improvised explosive compound you need to start with picric acid, an explosive compound.

As a 7 year army combat engineer, you're awesome! Good work! You've earned my sub.

“So, when behind enemy lines, you need to get at least 3 restricted sale items, you need at least several hours in a laboratory, and hot plates with magnetic stirrers. When you are done you will have enough material to blow up a case of Dr Pepper. Any questions?”😂😂😂😂😂

Edit 11 months later: It was a JOKE. Most get that. Some apparently don’t. If you didn’t realize it was a joke, then you more than likely also don’t know how to actually improvise things like that either. It takes a little mind power to stay alive with some reactions🤣🤣🤣🤣 Why do you think the makers are high priority targets? Because most of them that try end up testing the unalivevest while they are making it

Haha I wasn't sure what it was when I clicked on the video. It's an honor to be on a watchlist with you all.

Watchlist memes aside, you clearly know your stuff, and your setup alone has taught me stuff about chemistry that somehow slipped by me completely. Easily worth a sub.

I found that book in my dad’s stuff when I was 6 or 7. Most of it might as well had been in Greek and it’s a good thing! I’m looking forward to seeing more videos from that book. Thanks again and be safe.

I think I had this exact field manual I bought at a surplus store. My friend in middle school wanted to see it so I brought it to school (this was in like 1999 shortly after Columbine). He started telling other kids about it, and I got hauled into the dean's office with a cop interrogating me. They took the field manual, and suspended me for two weeks.

People started getting way too uptight around that time. Like the dean or the cop didn't ever mess around with stuff that could go boom when they were kids...

It’s amazing that all these recipes work. I’ve had copies of all the field manuals for decades. TATP, c4, anfo, even sensitized RDX.

Was not expecting it to be so entertaining. I know it takes nuts to reveal, good luck on your channel 🤘

When clearing you table, its quicker to just do shift+a and then press delete rather than highlighting each item and deleting them individually :)

Cool video, but I suggest not setting off explosives next to your home's AC units. As that last demo showed, you had a good amount of shrapnel blown out the back of the can and the radiators in those heat pumps are fragile and expensive to replace.
