I remember hearing this on AM radio somewhere back in 1961 or '62, when my older brother and I pulled up to the old Woodstock Teen Center, a cinder block building on Beaver Street, Jacksonville, Florida, where his band, "The Classics" were going to play. It was the very first Beach Boys song I ever heard ... And by the way, second only to the '63 through '67 Corvettes, the '61 Bubble Top Impala will always be my very favorite car. What a masterpiece of design.

My uncle tried to give me his 1963 Chevy Impala 409 White/red interior In 1971 .It Had 35, 000 miles. It was garaged in a big barn on their farm. I declined his gift as I wanted a newer vehicle for my first car at 16.. I should have taken it . 😂 I use to help him out on the farm when I was in highschool .
