I am actually really excited for this, i love to see teams outside of europe compete with some big clubs and hopefully upset them!

The infiltration of the bots has started. Btw it would be nice to see teams from different continents compete in an actual competition rather than friendlies

Yeah, more matches, that's EXACTLY what the players need FIFA 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

European team never take serious some tournaments like this. They do not attract as much audience as some of the European cups. And usually teams from Europe use them to test new players and give some time to youngsters. I don’t know if it’s the same for the rest of the world, but this cup is almost meaningless

TOO MANY GAMES. Everyone will have to go through mores injuries in their career than normal. And no one will be able to become the new GREATEST due to lack of injuries and fitness

Thank god this isn't an annual thing and limited to once per 4 years

You know what's even crazier? Last year, Fluminense (from Brazil) won the Libertadores, qualifying for the Club World Cup next year
But now, for some reason, they just became a dogshit team, sitting rock bottom in the Brazilian first league with just 8 points in 17 matches
And no, they didn't go through a financial problem and also didn't lose their players
So now, imagine a second tier brazilian club playing Man City on a normal sunday.... AND THEN PLAYING NOVO HORIZONTINO OR CRB ON THE WEDNESDAY LOL😂😂😂😂😂

A little bit too big, maybe if it was 16 teams it'd work better

An actual World Cup for Clubs is actually pretty cool, A lot of different teams have an equal chance of winning it and now we have a World Cup for clubs one year before the World Cup for countries

This tournament could actually be good in the sense that a lot of very good talents will be scouted

This is literally what a club World Cup is supposed to be.

I don’t agree with the super league BS but as much as the intention is the same (money money money), this format actually makes sense. I don’t know how it will affect transfer markets going forward (teams will need to have bigger squads to compete on all fronts or risk even wider cases of injury, burnout and early retirements). But on paper, this has always been what a “club World Cup” was supposed to be by definition.

We all would love to see a Club from Asia/ Africa/ Oceania/ North America WIN ❤

South American clubs often want to win it more, European clubs don’t have as much care for the current version but do have the money to build deeper squads for it

This new Club World Cup has potential to become even better than the UCL, if a few tweaks are made. 12 teams from Europe is just ridiculous

More football to watch is always a good thing just have to think about how much those players get to rest coz rest is absolutely necessary at the top level keen to see how it goes I hope they make it accessible to watch as well

I understand why people aren’t really talking about it. It will never become more iconic and more beloved than the Champions League (though UEFA are altering [or butchering, actually] that too). Besides… it’s just more and more matches in already increasingly long and gruelling seasons for players and teams, with more and more injuries bound to happen.
