This video is not what I hoped for - I quit smoking cold turkey, I tryed with patches and gum - but that just boosts the nicotine addiction, once I heard a Audio Book on quitting smoking, I understood more about why I was smoking and the reason I never quit. This is another video that seems sponsored by niccotine replacements, which will keep you addicted your hole life. It feels damn good to be free from smoking joints every single day for 5 years.

If you took your time to read this comment, start to believe yourself. You can do it

It feels f*cking awsome to wake up and drink a Coffee without the craving for a cigarette and to fill up your lungs with that stuff before breakfast

I have successfully stopped smoking cigarettes but, experiencing heavy withdrawal symptoms covering confusion, trouble concentrating and mood swings. If anyone else is going through the same without any post medication after quitting this terrible habit. It'll be helpful if someone else is experiencing the same thing too :)

I'm reading Allen Carr's easy way to quit smoking and tbh I find I literally do not want to light up. I haven't finished the book yet but it seems like it's a good option for helping to change perspective on smoking.

Does anyone’s else’s heart beat fast after smoking, and gives them anxiety ?

The irony of it is that heavy cigarette-smoking is often a sign of mental illness (or at least relatively poor mental health). People with bipolar disorder or serious depression often have a hard time staying away from the vices of alcoholism, cocaine addiction, heroin use or chain-smoking. No-one smokes cigarettes more than a psychiatric patient who’s just been released from the ward.

NRT is such a trap. Just quit cold turkey.

Research shows that these people that quit easier with NRT might actually be quitting easier because they're getting professional help as part of these studies, not because of the NRT itself. So it can help, but we have no research on people trying to quit on their own with NRT. I've found i just got addicted to NRT, and i felt like i struggled for longer than when i completely rid my body of nicotine and left my nicotine receptors alone.

Damn! I got lost in the doodles. This is great way of explaining any information. I am wondering is there any app / software to do it.

Day 13 on patches. Only time I've wanted one is at the times I normally would have had one (in the morning with coffee, after food, boredom) so I've changed my routine a bit and I don't miss smoking at all. Probably will when I drop to a lower dose of patches but that's a few weeks away yet

I wish this video wasn't at such a hyper speed. Makes it difficult to absorb the info!

For me the withdrawal symptoms of giving up nicotene are terrible my personality changes, I get very aggresive and people can't handle being around me why I won't be giving up nicotene.
