In all fairness the country of which the biological father comes from should be responsible for the citizenship of the siblings not the biological mother's country.

Some may argue the rule as constriction of individual freedom to chose who to marry and freedom to move/migrate in and out of the country.. however, some also argue that the country has its own issues and tailors its own laws to mitigate consequences.
Some say bringing these children back into the country is adding to the talent pool and therefore it should be allowed.. while others say the child is already another country’s citizen and theres no stopping her from going back once she is in a better position to afford it.
Imma stay neutral in this till ive heard and weighed in on every argument out there.

Don't need constitutional amendment. If the Govt is genuine then they should concurs with the appellants' appeal in the Federal court.

Why mothers cannot transfer their citizenship to their kids??
What is so special only Malaysian men can do it??

Gender Equality rights in the 21st century. So if Malaysia is to progess into the future then this bill should should be pass into law. I see some comments here that are gender bias. That's why la Malaysia have to signed the UN treaty of ICERD. Hopefully if and when PH govt do take over again and of course without that toxic old man M can this be sign and ratify.

Personally...it doesnt bother me...coz im very very lucky...in that all my kids can be Swiss..and have swiss Passports...most Malays arent as lucky...sigh
