Great video. Just installed this on my A5. I had such a tough time removing the glove box. I had one extra screw behind the cd changer that no one else online seems to have. Apart from that it was pretty easy thanks to this video. The screen is fantastic, super fast and defo takes off 5yrs from the age of the car. Would recommend

I ordered mine as well I got the 8ram 12.3 screen and running on android 12 …I all ready had installed the 4ram android unit mounted like the factory one ..can’t wait to install the 12.3 screen..looks nice ..great job on the video 🤘🏽🫵🏽🤘🏽

Great video, just fitted one of these for my wife today, look amazing and a great upgrade to the car. Your video is good, you should cover the air bag switch and the bezel a little better but your a great advert for your business. Audio Problems: 1. Make sure you have external source active in the MMI - if missing activation via green menu needed. 2. Make sure the AMI port is connected via the AUX adapter to your head unit - I had an aux cable connected to RCA OUT of the android unit. 4. set your source on media to external audio and the audio will be basically going from the android system through RCA OUT into the AMI Port. Hope that helps someone.

Superb job done & I love how it modernizes the B8 era to the new gen.
My A5 (2009) does not have Navigation.

I purchased this Android screen about twenty months ago from Nathan at The Fitting Bay, it was a professional and pleasant service from Nathan but the screen itself was nothing but problematic, as I will explain.
For the first screen, there were two fitted overall, my Samsung S22 was paired to the screen, and it was working, but on the way home, it disconnected from the internet so that idea was no good so with speaking to Nathan decided to use a sim card at a cost to me and that disconnected also .
I informed the fitting bay of the issue, so I returned, and a new screen was fitted, it was paired to my S22, and that problem was sorted, but the beginning of more.
The screen freezes at least once a day so I permanently carry a paper clip to reset the unit. if, for some reason, I have to pair my phone again, it is impossible for me or anyone else I know can pair it so back again to the fitting bay, about 1.5 hrs each way and Nathan, after a lot of trying, gets it paired even going to the extent of driving away from the workshop to the road to see if that helps.
When I start my Audi I select apps and then select ZLINK and if it doesn't freeze a notice appears saying, unlock your phone, as I am driving I unlock my phone and I have music, maps and phone, that's all I use it for.
Another problem is if I am talking on the phone and I select reverse that's the end of the phone call.
As you can see I am not happy with this screen which cost me about $1200.00, as soon as I find a replacement I will do that and cop the financial loss and put this one in the bin.

This is pretty cool. But idk about this over systems that use the stock screen. This looks nice at first, especially having a bigger screen, but it’s also really big, sticks out a lot, won’t have shade from sunlight both for readability and lifespan, and makes it more obvious to others what you’re doing. Plus it’s about $200USD more expensive.

It’s a tough call cause there’s not many options and this has better integration with the stock system, and it’s so flashy that it might help sell the car down the line.

Just bought a 2015 Q5 myself before knowing you can’t just upgrade the stereo/screen with a normal aftermarket one like most cars. So if you have basic radio/CD and that’s it, you’re stuck with it except these few specialty systems.
