A Day in the Life of a Data Engineer

It's not going to be that exciting but you'll get an idea what I do.

There are two core paths on LogikBot. One for the data analyst role and one for the machine learning engineering role.

I've added the data analyst role recently because machine learning has become so difficult to break into. If you're new to IT, I'd highly recommend this path. You can be in a real-world data analsyt role in under a year if you really apply yourself. LogikBot is the most affordable and fastest way to attain this role. The platform even has an exam simulator for preparing for the exam.

For the data analyst role, you take two courses then prepare for and pass exam PL-300. This exam, PL-300, is the Microsoft Certified PowerBI Data Analyst Certification.

If you're in a shortcut role, then there's an entire path laid out for learning machine learning. The platform used by Uber and Microsoft. I worked at both companies. The courses are real-world and comprehensive. This is not the easy way. There is no easy way. This is one of the few platform that's offers a real-world approach to working in AI.

You just gained a new subscriber! This is the best “day in the life” ever. I actually learned a lot from you in under 4 minutes. No lofty music. No pretending to wake up and doing yoga and walking your dog. Just straight business that people can actually learn from. God bless you!

I wish more tech related content creators were as clear cut as you are.

I love your channel and I've been binging all your data analyst/engineer content 😂

Thanks brother ✌🏽

Loved this short and concise video! I'm a data analyst that thinks I want to be a data engineer. I came across your video while searching for content to help me make my decision. This was a big help!

While I know creating tickets and especially waiting for their resolvement can be tedious I personally consider the job very interesting even though as by all DEV jobs a person needs to have very high frustration level :D

I think Data Engineer = Stress

This stress covers the technical challenges and learning these technical skills and talking about the business requirements. You can even feel it during the interview processes.

But hey, who loves the rose endures its thorns :)

Sounds so cool, binge watching your content..

I'm currently working on a population prediction model in an internship as data scientist However I'm really passionate about geospatial data analysis.

Can you tell me is it in demand and would it be a good niche.

And what you'll suggest me to make real world valuable

Hey Mike, did you have any prior experience with Snowflake? Generally speaking, if a company uses a particular database/cloud (say SQL SVR/Oracle or AWS, /Azure/Snowflake/GCP) are they typically OK with you having similar experience with another vendor? Or are hiring managers going to be strict about having experience with their specific tech stack?

Subscribed. And I Don't know if I should go down the data scientist or data engineer route? Any tips? All I really know is I like math. Not so much programming unless it makes my math better.

Sup. I'm 41. Is it too late to switch from cyber security to data engineering/science ?

Awesome, thanks. Tickets can be cumbersome as well. How do tickets work in AWS? What I mean is if it's any different from Jira Service Management or Team Foundation Server?

Hey Mike I am interested in data engineering. Would you recommend one do a CS degree or a Data Analytics degree to become a data engineer?

Hey Mike, I am wondering if data governance is the same or analgous to data engineering. If not, then what are some differences?

Additionally, is data governance a great gateway into ML?
