1:33 Remember Beyblade X is trying to become a sport so thats why they keep hosting tournaments, more triple packs for customization, and Gear Case AKA Beyblade X Official storage case

Hasbro don't sell beys in my country but i love that Hasbro don't make random boosters.

The plastic area on the packaging where you can see the bey itself it’s also my favorite feature on the packaging. But i feel like a lot of kids will try to open them on store to steal and that may cause for a future change in packages 😭

The Hasbro and Takara Tommy beys being cross compatible is I cannot emphasize how much that helps the popularity of beyblade for absolutely everyone and it leads to a really united community so more tournaments, more casual and a AMAZING competitive scene

5:50 I normally don’t let go of the string because it sometimes goes in the stadium and interferes with the beyblades.

Fun fact: The Beyblade dub changes the English term for an “over finish” in every series. In metal it was “stadium out”, in burst it was “ring out”, and now in X it’s “knockout finish” idk abt the original series cuz I haven’t watched it yet but I’m pretty sure it was the same as the Metal era.

As an aside, we must discuss how ugly the Hasbro logo is.
Seriously, this company needs to redesign that thing

i use to watch you when I was 10 years old, I remember when you couldn't find hell kerbex in stores. I stopped playing as I got older because the quality of products heavily declined here. But maybe it's time to revisit at hobby after 14 years. I always held onto my metal saga collection. I look forward to seeing how much I enjoy X.

i argue it's definitely not fair to compare these right now since it's been a whole YEAR since tomys launch, so of course they'd have more junk to choose.

I'm quite new to Beyblading myself (I watched the original anime in the early 2000s but I haven't owned a single Bey until this month) and for me there's actually two options for getting Beyblades. One, I can get them from my local stores and these are the Hasbro ones. Two, I can get them from Hobbylink Japan, where I'm already buying stuff, and these are going to be the Takara ones. One thing I've noticed is that the base price on HLJ is cheaper. When comparing prices they're roughly 3-4 Euros cheaper. But I also have to account for shipping prices and customs taxes. I'm planning an experiment to see which is gonna be better by making equivalent purchases from local and HLJ and compare final prices, but I can already tell that some things I'm definitely gonna get from Hobbylink, such as arenas. But it's still great knowing that the quality of the Beys themselves is the same regardless of company. It means I may get doubles from different sources and it won't even matter.

Probably the same Vietnamese supplier where before with Burst, Hasbro had just the license but now they have integrated their supply chains

I first got into Beyblade during the Burst era (eww) It was because some kids were having a Beyblade competition at the church and I wanted to join (me an adult). So I bought some beys and battled with them. It was fun.
I recently picked up my first X Bey, the Sword Dran and I gotta say... These X Beys are so much cooler than the Burst ones. I gotta get as many of these as possible. I have 6 Burst ones but I gotta get more X ones in order make the switch completely.
I love how the X ones are metal around the edge like the 2nd gen ones.
I was never into Beyblades back then though, sadly I missed out. It was because I never cared about the anime as a kid (I still don't), but now as an adult I realize the hobby is about the Beys themselves, and the anime is just made to sell them. You don't have to be a fan of the anime to enjoy the hobby.

Since i live in the states, packaging is a huge plus as i like to save the stats on the box. I did buy one TT as it was about $5 cheaper (probably because it was out longer), but i cannot read the box stats the same.
