You left out the part where he pulled his knife and said "gimmie all your stuff". This wasn't a prank it was a armed robbery in progress. Glad the legal gun owner wasn't charged and I hope he is doing ok after dealing with the trauma of taking a life. I have no sympathy for Timothy.

I’ve never understood why people do this shit in America. You never know who is legally or illegally carrying a firearm. The man who shot him was 100% in the right. When someone is genuinely in fear for their life (or even someone else’s) they have every right to defend themselves. Calling this a prank is ridiculous, they were inciting public panic for clout. I really hope the guy who shot him is doing okay. Killing someone, even when in the right, can really fuck someone up and then to find out the entire situation wasn’t real would just be devastating.

Everybody ain't waiting for the prankster to say those hopefully life saving 3 words "It's a prank!" Those words have saved some pranksters but this isn't the first person to become unalive playing a prank the difference is that this story just got placed on some major news channels!
