What's the Point of Air Cup Suspension?

During sema 2019 we ran into Fortune Auto and talked to them about their air piston lift system they have available. The air piston lift system has a aircup on top of a coilover so it allows you to easily go over speed bumps, get into those nasty driveaways and many other scenarios. Let us know your thoughts below and if you would ever run this system!

I've been using air cups, I am now free to drive anywhere, mall parking lot, steep driveway, etc. I am not worrying my front lips anymore. These cups is pure gold for me.

Interesting. So you're basically static except when you need to go up a driveway/speed bump. I think I like these more than bags tbh.

It's a good thing for static guys but not a replacement for complete air ride

I have been a fan of lowered vehicles since high school. Still going strong many years later. All of my current vehicles are lowered on lowering springs for daily driving. I would love to upgrade to complete air ride systems in the future, however price is a major factor. If you look at the price of the Fortune Auto Air Cup system, I don't see the benefit of using the Fortune Auto Air Cup system over a full air ride system offered by other manufacturers. Prices are basically the same. When I am able to upgrade to a complete air ride system, I will definitely save up and get a "fully adjustable" air ride system with full functionality over the Fortune Auto air cup system. Just my thoughts. Thanks.👍🏼

My GT4 is low and has lots of overhang in the front for the track. These work for me. A real necessity because I like to drive it on the road and my driveway is super steep.

What about the reversed? Using the cups to fully air out like airride stance for photo's, parking etc and air the cups up to drive?

So when someone asks you if you’re static or bagged, is this where you say “I’m both”?

Do you need to stop to use it? Can it be used while rolling?

Stopping at every speed bump would be annoying.

pin this. I only would love to put air cups on with out question if you were able to drive aired up all the time and low as you can comfortably drive in your streets crusing around without a compensating feeling since youre on then park it some where and air out.

What is the ride quality? I’m looking to lower my car and get away from lowering springs it’s toooo harsh!!! It’s got to be a way of lowering your car and keep stock ride quality. 59 years old I love my car low, but I don’t want the bumpy ride. I want stock ride.

Wondering if these would work with active suspension or cars with spring buckets

Do you recommend cup kit on "track" cars? I don't want the suspension to be too soft. When I had bags on coilovers on one of my cars, it was still too "bouncy/soft". That car was a fast turbo'd sedan, so I didn't want to be bouncy, I wanted it to be solid planted to the floor. So I ditched the whole airbag/coilovers 3 months after I installed it.
