First Impressions of the KALORIK MAXX AIR FRYER OVEN

The Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer Oven is a beast! Not only in size but also in function! In this (relatively) short video about my first impressions, I take a look at the Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer Oven and give you an inside look at what you can expect when opening the box. The Kalorik claims to replace 8 different appliances in your house, which is a hefty order! With various functions like air fry, fast air fry, rotisserie, bacon, steak tray, dehydration, air rack, and baking tray - this machine sounds like it can do just about anything. If you read your owners book first you wouldn’t seem so ignorant on useage such as the designated shelf functions printed on the glass doors. Annoying beeping? Really? Your issues with the French doors were laughable also. If you open them completely, which is necessary to get the trays in and out, they wouldn’t “ flop” closed on you. Also, the tool to remove and insert the racks is provided so oven mitts are not necessary.

As for the beeping, I believe that’s what you’d call a safety feature. Un-attended food, something like being distracted by your children, is one of the leading causes of house fires. I think it’d make perfect sense to eliminate the beeping for sure

I'm not an expert chef - but it makes sense to me that the crack between the doors is not a design flaw, but actually allows the necessary ventilation so the air can circulate without steaming everything and making everything soggy. I mean, an air fryer is supposed to be able to make things crisp - not soggy - right?

You know, I found one, brand new, at a secondhand place for $30 bucks. I'm not sure why someone would donate this oven in brand new condition, but their loss is my gain! I've used it a bunch of times already, and it has quickly become my "go-to" cooking unit. I can see that I will be using this for the run of its life. Hopefully, that will be for a long time! Either way, it's the best $30 bucks I've ever spent. Great video! It makes me feel even better about the money I spent.

Other than the beeping, it does feel like a few issues would be resolved if the doors weren't French type! Overall sounds pretty decent... not sure if I'd have the counter space for it, but I almost think it would be worth making it work just for the rotisserie and dehydrator functionality alone! Thanks so much for this Ajay! Wouldn't mind a more thorough or "I've had this for a few months" follow ups to hear how it's been working out! We haven't gone the way of the air fryer yet, and just trying to decide if we want to, so this is a big help my friend!

I like the beeping honestly reminds me of a PS3 and my coffee maker has the same beep. Its a cute beep as far as I can tell over youtube anyway.

I don't find the beep bothersome at all. Love my Kalorik! As far as the doors, you kind of glossed over the fact that when you open the doors all the way, they stay open just fine. I like the spring loaded doors as, like my regular oven, it will close itself with a tap in the right direction. Last, the handles do get warm, but far from burn you warm. Otherwise, decent review.

and also the buttons get super hot... did I do something wrong?

Would this fit a full size chicken??? I’m really looking for something with French doors that will make a full sized rotisserie chicken. It looks too big to store in a cabinet like you said. But it also looks too small to make a full sized rotisserie chicken. Thanks for your review! How do you like it over all since you’ve had time to use it?
P.S. I’ve seen other reviewers saying the beeping sound is a piercing sound as well lol

Maybe door handles should have been made with something heat resistant or placed away from door gap.
It's a nice looking unit.
What are the length & depth measurements?
I want to regain some counter space. Have microwave & bench oven.
Really want microwave, airfryer combo with convection that has shelves. The dehydrator is added bonus, but not urgent.
Still looking atm.

Have this one and loved it at first but the cord near the machine split in half and broke, needless to say I heard a crackling and orange glow behind it and burn marks on my tile. Yes i keep it out from the wall. I hope they are going to do something about my machine but won't hold my breath.

I really really like the loud beep in most people do however you can actually open the oven up and disconnect the beep all together it’s really simple to do the only downside to disconnecting the beep is it’s not a switch once you disconnect it the beep doesn’t beep anything you would have to reconnect it again and solder the wire back on so the suggestion that you should make it through the company is not to change The beep button to simply put an on off switch so that you can turn the beep off and then if you ever want to turn it back on you can me personally I would leave the peep on because I like it and it is important to be loud enough to let you know when things are done
