Born in 1988, Olcay Silahlı went to Kuleli Military High School and continued his university education in Turkish Military Academy. However, because of his passion to create a social enterprise, he dropped out of the military academy, moved to İstanbul and got into Istanbul Technical University where he graduated with a major in Management Engineering. He started his career in 2011 and he worked at several corporations before co-founding Whole Surplus, a Tech Platform enabling companies to manage their unsold inventory with the best financial, social and environmental recovery value. To this day, he continues to tackle global problems with the people who share the same vision with him.
