This is amazing. I don't care if its allowed or not. This is just simply out of this world. Totally love it. ❤

As someone who owns a metal polishing company this is a horrible idea for safety reasons along with the fact that youve now taken the coating off the stainless and its going to tarnish much faster now

I rode in this exact polished truck with my parents the sun does not reflect off the truck also the owner said if the truck gets scratched, he can re-polish it. It doesn’t get tarnished and there is no safety hazards. It is easy to see on the road, and from far away. You can’t notice a difference from a polished cyber truck and a non-polished one from far away there is no safety concerns

You can't make your car out of a bunch of angled mirrors. The sun's reflection will blind other drivers.

You don't have to be smart to inherit money.

Polishing stainless makes the surface smoother and less prone to rust not more. And theee is no “ coating” from the factory on the stainless surface- they just sand it with a rotating sander and leave it -

But they I own six Porsches and a C8 corvette and my cyberbeast is the best all around car I have ever owned - not even close - all my other cars feel antiquated in comparison from overall design to capabilities and engineering. Drive one for thirty minutes and then see if you still think badly about this genius of design-

This is going to take someone’s life… really hope this is going to be on display or something and someone is not going to take this idea, do it, and go on the road

"Sir, the truck is a mirror, I didn't see it until I hit it."

It also highlights all the imperfections in the stainless steel.

Why isn't this as illegal as mirror window tint?

People have had chrome cars for years, for the crying babies in the comments.

Waiting for someone to polish a cyber truck with chrome tinted windows and chrome wrap for all the plastic bumper. Side moldings wrapped chrome with floating chrome rims and lower profile tires.

Before anyone says: “What about those super shiny waxed gas cars that have fancy clean reflections?”

My friend, it’s easy to answer why there’s a difference.

A: Shapes
Most cars are well. Curvy, angled, and rarely straight edged. Your average car is going to never be 100% straight angles, it will have curves. Meaning, if it’s ever polished and waxed to a shiny silky smooth finish, any reflections and light shown on it will be 100% warped. If you’re ever car riding with someone and looking around, look at the carbs that drive by you, see the reflection in the car body and notice how it’s a bit of a mirror reflection, but the reflection is warped and mishappen, this is for a reason. its in order to make sure your car is noticeable on the road! even if its hit with several light sources onto it, you brain will still supply with the information that there is a car. The cybertruck? it has none of that. The geometric shape and flat surfaces with it being polished make a perfect mirror that perfwctly reflects is surroundings. This is seen sometimes when it comes to cosplay vehicles to make it look like a cool floating bike via attaching mirrors right under the body to hide the wheels and reflect the ground, which is neat! Unfortunately, the cybertruck is wayyy too far from being neat. This instead is mire of a mirror reflecting beams of light back to other cars, harming visibility, and making your vehicle impossible to spot at times.

B:Color

Most cars have colors, and also a finish to them or a light amount of "glitter" to them. This is not only made to make your car have a stylish look, but also be noticeable on the road. And again, if youre on the car, not driving, look out, and you'll see how your reflection is not only distorted, but not fully there, you still see the color of the car under it, clearly at that. It’s meant to lower the amount of reflection, from light sources and bouncing back onto your eyes. Even silver cars aren’t technically a “true silver”. The cybertruck however, has no color, or finish at that, besides its obvious issues with oxidation and corrosion being a million times easier to happen with it, it also means it makes it far easier for a crisp polish to happen, because there’s no layering to further break down any light hitting the surface.

All in all, this is a huge danger, and I am pretty sure this is illegal to a federal level in the United States. All cars have to be visible, noticeable, and also not a distraction, this polished up cybertruck is absolutely none of those things. And it can seriously endanger people. Cybertruck owners, do not take your cybertruck out onto the road after polishing it, just have it on display in your car collection or something where people can properly enjoy the slick and mirror like look to it.

People care so much about what others think. They want to impress strangers so much. It's a psychological disorder.

Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done.

Absolutely stupid out of many different reasons.

If I get in a wreck because I can't see due to your rolling mirror blinding me with reflected sunlight, I am totally going to sue the pants off you because you have created a massive rolling road block. I'll take your Cybertruck from you and paint it matte black. Seriously, go read Unsafe at Any Speed. It is a bit dated but all the conclusions are all still valid and you just did the most douchey thing you could ever do with a Cybertruck. Was bad enough before you polished it.
