Scaring of the lungs is permanent, the inflammation going down is good. the scaring would mess with cardio endurance so could harm how long a note she could hold in one go. Not a lot you can do about it after the fact it will just be a new normal for her, so long as it's not a large percent of scaring she can train to work around it.
