Managed to get early access to the Canary & use it as a pocket carry EDC fixed blade - very happy (no interest in neck carry). I carry it either front or rear pocket and hardly know it's there. Will also easily slip into a pack or bag. The quality is typical QSP = very good. Cutting performance out of box was good (just a few strokes on the strop to tune it). I like the spine treatment - 'decorative gimping'. Like many neck knives - probably too small for those with very large hands but should be fine for most. Sharp blades all.

I dont have a penguin, the only QSP I own is a Mamba 2. the build quality is really good. in general QSP is out of my range, but I do like the looks of them. I really do like the Plus. not only is it a bit bigger, so easier for my hands, the flipper tab also is friendly to the nerve damage in my hand and arm. I have worn a neck knife for years, and when you first start, you find so many times that the little blade gets the job done, and is so convenient. if you plan to wear it as a necker, put the chain through BOTH of the holes at the tip, so I carries balanced.

Qsp really knocked them out of the park with this lineup but the titanium penguin plus is definitely my favorite it's beautiful 👍🏼
