Just for reference, the distance from Beijing to Shanghai is more or less the same as that from Washington DC to Miami. Trump can commute daily from Mar-a-lago to DC to work, if he lives that long.

Los Angeles to New York is just over 4000 km. This train has a top speed of 1000 km/h. The trip would take just over four hours from New York to Los Angeles. It is an impressive train; however, correct the narration as the calculation of just over two hours is incorrect.
