Sigma SJM-SG45

Hi I am really hesitating between the jm-sg45 and sjm-sg45 ; i saw you did you try the 2 and do think the sjm sound and specs are worth spending double the price ? thanks!

I don't like overly trebly guitars but this Sigma, although sounding very nice, lacks a little in the high frequensies. A good J-45 sounds more balanced. But for the price you can't beat the Sigma!

You could take an actual gibson j-45 and put a different label on the headstock and people would tell you that the guitar is ''j-45ish but nothing sounds like a real one.'' Nobody wants to admit that other guitar manufactures can make the mythical j-45. It's probably coming from the people that bought one. That's my take.

Hello. I have a Sigma SDM-18 that I imported to the US from a guitar store in England a couple of years ago. It has the Sigma brand written on the headstock in the same style and font as Martin Guitar Co. Is the SJM-SG45 there made by the same Sigma company? By the way, that guitar sounds incredible!
