RVD elevated the TV title to the point where it felt more important than the world title.

Man there’s something so raw and real about ECW. The home video/low budget style footage and the music works perfectly with a show like that, it’s like watching lost footage of a secret fight club.

There was nothing like ECW in the mid-late 90s. Nothing.

RVD is a top 5 wrestler ever when it comes to to talent

RVD during this era of ECW was significantly better than everyone. The only disappointment was that RVD broke his leg when they were building a program between him as the TV champion and Mike Awesome who was the ECW champion. I wish we could’ve gotten that storyline. At this point of time he was really “The Whole F’n Show”.

Anybody that didn't see RVD in ECW from 96-98 needs to watch all his matches

RVD in ECW was something else
Always remember his unreal spots and jumps.

If you have Peacock and haven't gone back and rewatched EcW, you really should, it's totally worth it.

I missed all of this and didn't see RVD wrestle until Invasion 2001 against Jeff Hardy.
I heard of RVD, about his legendary ECW TV title reign, lasting almost 2 years.
That one match turned me into a RVD mega fan and I look back fondly on the Invasion angle because of RVD.
Closing the year out with that hardcore match against Undertaker, he really was made for the big time.
A sign of what wrestling would become, far ahead of his time.

RVD vs Sabu was one of ECW`s greatest match ups

RVD was amazing in ECW. I must track down his matches with Sabu, Bam Bam and Lynn.

Mannnn it KILLS me that I missed out on ECW because the only time it aired where I live back in the day were always days I was at work. I've been digging though youtube and other places for ECW episodes and they were on a whole other level... I would have loved to go to a live show

The matches between RVD vs Jerry Lynn changed wrestling.

Rob was and is the greatest ECW TV Champion that company ever had period. It's a damn shame Paul Heyman mismanaged ECW and jeopardize his talent careers, he had vision and some good ideas but in the end we'll we know the rest.

I was a teenager during the original ECW run and I still can't understand why RVD is still alive because of it.

RVD is one of the greatest ever, AND is severely underrated. The man helped revolutionize what people could do in the air, you'd've thought he was a bird.

I used to just love coming home on the late night and find ECW on, those nights were lit asf.
