Students Learn Massage Therapy At Daymar College

It's something you either need, or want, or sometimes both. It's a massage, and in particular, a medical therapy massage. Students at the Daymar College, close to completing their year-long curriculum to graduate, have been preparing themselves to work anywhere from a doctor's office to a cruise ship.

Hmmm verry odd. I think an American massage spa school is different of the European spa school. So many things are done wrong. Swedisch massage is the same as a deep tisseu massage?? Really?? Ugh. Tapotage is done wrong. The therapist is to close near the body of the cliënt, and why is the massage table position so low? The therapist has to lean so far over the cliënt that he or she will kill the muscles of their back, after 2 days they cannot give a massage any more because of the back pain they will have.

So take care of your body. Stand up straight and adjust the massage table at your working hight. And close your mind and soul before you give a massage to a cliënt, people can absorb a lot of energy during a massage. So you can feel tired after several massages.

Really, a massage therapy helps people who get having works is relaxing, releasing pains by working, and some thing else ect, , these thing I have tried it so far because I usually feel hurting any my body part, feeling tired, less movement from actions of my body parts after choosing a good massage threrapist, I feel better and get energy again to work another days.i just worry not enough money to meet massage therapist every week.lol.If you don't have any free time to do exercises you can meet them let helping you of muscles and flow blood.

So many things wrong in this video. I have been in massage therapy school for 2 years and will be licensed in June or July depending on when I get it back.

Things that are wrong
-you don't say I'm lotioning the body that has a sexual connotation. You could say I'm using a medium to allow me to glide on the skin to give the desired effect of massage.

-swedish and deep tissue are two different modalities.
-swedish is a relaxation massage
-deep tissue or therapeutic is massaging with intention from superficial to deep using advanced techniques.

The number one thing I see wrong here is you don't ask where you are hurting or why they are on your table. You better do your due dilligence and have them fill out a client intake that list exactly whats wrong with them. Then when they get on the table and they mention something else needs to be addressed then at that point you would ask where does it hurt.

Also there are several mediums that can be used oil, lotion, gel, creams. It's not just lotion.

It doesn't seem like this school is very honest with their students. I'm just happy my school has taught me well and been very thorough with the educational aspect.

Don't become a massage therapist unless you don't care about making a good living. Get a real career. Massage is just a hobby.
