In the final round of the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, Scottie Scheffler shoots a 6-under 66, the best round of Sunday, to get to 15-under overall, more than enough to win his seventh PGA TOUR title by five shots.

The PGA TOUR’s Florida swing continues as Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge hosts the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. This event is the second of three player-hosted invitationals (along with Tiger Woods’ The Genesis Invitational and Jack Nicklaus’ the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday). World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be in the field this week. The American has gone T4-1-T15 in his last three Arnold Palmer Invitational starts and hasn’t finished worse than T17 in his last five TOUR starts – including three straight top-10s. Rory McIlroy will also be teeing it up in Florida this week. He’s had past success here claiming victory in 2018 and finishing runner-up two years ago. The Northern Irishman has also made nine out of nine cuts and claimed six top-10s previously in this event. Reigning FedExCup champion Viktor Hovland is also back in action this week. Hovland last teed it up at The Genesis Invitational where he finished tied for 19th. He has recorded back-to-back top-10 results at Bay Hill, including a runner-up in 2022. Others to look out for are Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, Justin Thomas and Austin Eckroat.

If he continues this great putting, Scottie will win almost every tournament

When Scottie has it in cruise control, he's basically AI golf.

I find Scottie to be an enigma. Like, when I watch his swing, it doesn't look all that good but he gets near perfect results.

I don’t think anyone else hits the ball as good as he does

He could very well go on a Tiger esque run if the putter is here to stay. Watch out.

Scheffler is a great player and deserved to win. Congratulations! But you also have to say that his competitors simply didn't play well on the final day, there was no pressure on him and so he was able to win comfortably.

I love how dignified he and his family are. The example they set is how ALL people of all colors should look to live their life. It’s like looking at a family from the 50’s and we need so much more of that.

The lines on his ball are so fun to watch, he starts the ball on his intended line on ever shot it’s uncanny. Amazing how he is so consistent all while dancing through the follow through.

I said last year Scheffler should switch to a TM spider putter, it helped me and I was horrible for years with a blade, then I switched to a spider tour mallet and the difference was night and day. If it can help a 20 hc with no natural golf talent whatsoever get down to 13hc, then it can help one of the best on the PGAT.

When this guy has his short game going, I don’t know if there’s a golfer on the planet that can go lower than him.
