Jeremy! You gotta try Derek Simnett's recipes! I have his ebook, and it's great. Lots of variety, and he's the sauce king. Also, if you tag him, he just might agree to an interview :)

I have enjoyed Yeung Mans channel for years but have only made a few of his recipes due to so much sodium and oil. I like how you tackled them with so many swaps.
BTW black vinegar is VERY different from balsamic. It’s fermented, salty and deep.

Hi Jeremy! Love your willingness to try and your kid's willingness to try! Derek Sano is another person I love to watch. He does use a lot oil, but mainly for sautéing.

Try Derek Sarno. He is a full on chef! He does some without oil. Famous for making mushrooms better than meat.

Plant based oyster sauce is often labelled Mushroom Sauce. It is more umami and less sweet than hoisin. Fun video; I love Wil's recipes and enjoyed seeing them done oil free!

I love your adaptations of recipes as we all add/subtract from the new recipe that we are trying. Usually in this house we start off with good intentions to stick to the recipe but end up changing it to our tastes.

OMG, I'm so glad you explored how to cook Yeung Man Cooking wihtout oil. I love his recipes except it is difficult to replace the oils.

Love this channel! But, I think when oil is kind of the essence of the recipe, it's difficult to reproduce without. I've made the garlic noodles as Yeung Man Cooking presents it and they were delicious. The version here doesn't even sound appetizing. I agree with others here that you should check out Pick Up Limes and the Dereks.

I love Wil's dishes. I often cook his Singapore noodles, also by using rice. THe weeknight noodles with mushrooms and sesame are also delicious.

Shakayla Felice is probably my new favorite YouTuber. She isn’t WFPB, but I think she is easily adaptable. Or you could just go really hard challenge, and do Bosh TV. Their cookbook is holy grail vegan cookbook status but they definitely use oils and vegan processed products.
