Genshin Impact is Free to Play on PC, iOS & Android, PS4 with a Nintendo Switch release later down the road. Genshin Impact is totally crossplay, so everyone can play together because YES Genshin Impact has online coop!
Most versions of Genshin Impact will also feature cross saves, meaning you can continue right where you left off on PC from your phone (PS4 will not feature cross saves).
The best way I could describe Genshin Impact is FREE Zelda Breath of the Wild with anime characters and online play.
Genshin Impact will be completely FREE to play and features a Gacha system, which is a sort of cash shop random chance of unlocking new gear and even exclusive characters / classes.

The fact that I found this, right after booting it up on my PS5 expecting the process to be easy and in the process made it so I can never cross save from my pc to my ps5 is absolutely ridiculous….

Genshin Impact finally has cross saves for PS4/PS5 to PC/Mobile, but it's not as simple as you think, and in fact there's a few hiccups that might completely prevent you from using this new feature.. in short, so long as you have only logged in to ONE Genshin version, but not the one you want to port your progress over to, you're good!

For the people who (just like me) accidentally already made the beginning mistake and cannot log out just make a new ps profile user and them you can do the link thing. Remember dont press skipp it when it pops up

I transferred my ps4 to my mobile all. After you done all the steps u just have to switch to the server that your in. For example: Asia = Oceania

Hello guys, I figured it out. If already skip the link account page at first here what you have to do, delete the game from your console then make a new account on your console (a new user) and make sure to make an account that locate in the same server you have your genshin account on (for example if you play on the Europe server then make an account for an European country like Turkey)

I found this right after I made the mistake, I even watched some youtube videos and they all made it seem easy just use the same email but it didn’t work and I was so confused, then I found your video and I was like oh :) I wish I’ve seen it before attempting.
I’ve deleted the game and I am re-downloading it to see if it’ll help.

Bruh, I linked everything from Mobile to PS4 and it even shows that the username, email and everything is linked but the progress still isn't transferred over.

Ich fasse die Reihenfolge zusammen 1-20


1. Ich habe Genshin Impact nur auf meinem Handy gespielt.


2. Ich habe mir eine Ps5 gekauft und wollte mein Account vom Handy -> auf meine PS5 übertragen (Cross Save)


3. Ich habe mein ersten PSN Account erstellt(für die Playstation) und auch mit der PS App auf dem Handy verbindet.


4. Die E-mail vom ersten PSN Account ist die selbe mit der ich Genshin Impact auf meinem Handy verbunden bin.


5. Während Genshin Impact auf der PS5 am Installieren war, stand unten rechts anmelden, da habe ich drauf geklickt und habe mich mit der E-mail von meinem Genshin Impact Account angemeldet.


6. Als Genshin Impact vollständig Installiert wurde, habe ich das Spiel gestartet und ich wurde in ein neues Spiel rein gebracht.


7. Darauf hin habe ich mich abgemeldet, aber ich konnte kein Account wechseln.


8. Dann habe ich meine PS5 zurückgesetzt, mein ersten PSN Account gelöscht und alles weiteren gelöscht, aber auf meinem Handy bei der PS App war der PSN Account nicht gelöscht.


9. Dann habe ich die PS5 Neu eingerichtet und mir ein neuen 2.PSN Account mit einer ganz neuen E-mail erstellt und das auch bei der PS App.

PS. Die neue E-Mail-Adresse hat keinerlei Verbindung zu Genshin Impact oder sonst was. Die ist ganz Neu erstellt worden, womit ich nirgendwo verbunden war.


10. Ich habe dann Genshin Impact nochmal neu installiert und dieses mal gewartet bis es zu 100% heruntergeladen war.


11. Plötzlich erschien in der Mitte ein Symbol wo drauf stand:

Wenn du dich auf einer anderen Plattform anmelden oder deine Spieldaten auf einer anderen Plattform nutzen willst, kannst du dein Konto mit einem HoYoverse-Pass verbinden.

Dieses Symbol ist NICHT erschienen als ich das erste Mal Genshin Impact auf der PS5 installiert habe. Ich vermute, weil ich mich mitten in der Installation von Genshin Impact mich unten rechts schon angemeldet habe.


12. Ich habe nicht mehr unten rechts auf anmelden geklickt sondern auf dem Symbol in der Mitte und habe die erste 1. Option ausgewählt: Mit E-Mail-Adresse für HoYoverse-Pass verbinden


13. Darauf hin erschien:

14. Dann habe ich die E-Mail-Adresse von meinem Genshin Impact Account eingegeben(womit ich auf mein Handy verbunden bin)



15. Ich habe den Code auf der Ps5 eingegeben, der mir gesendet wurde und habe auf Verbinden abschließen geklickt.


16. Dann erschien mitten im Bildschirm:


Dieser HoYoverse-Pass wurde bereits mit einer anderen Drittanbieterplattform verbunden. Wähle bitte einen anderen HoYoverse-Pass.



17. Darauf hin habe ich Genshin Impact verlassen und nochmal neu versucht und das ca. 6 mal wiederholt.



18. Dann bin ich auf der PS5 ins Menü gegangen, habe Benutzer wechseln geklickt und habe mein ersten PSN Account eingegeben.



19. Mit dem ersten PSN Account der anscheinend nicht gelöscht ist. Bin ich in Genshin Impact rein gegangen, und es wird mir weiterhin angezeigt dass ich schon angemeldet bin ( mit der Email-Adresse mit der ich auf meinem Handy verbunden bin ) und nur die Möglichkeit habe das Spiel zu starten.


Und es wird nicht mit meinem Account vom Handy verbunden obwohl es die gleiche E-Mail-Adresse hat.



20. Ich habe Genshin Impact noch nicht kontaktiert, weil ich nicht weiß was ich als Betreffzeile schreiben soll damit die verstehen können wo das problem liegt.


Ich hoffe das mir jemand bitte helfen kann...
