Best channel on YouTube for self-help and entrepreneurs. It's crazy how practical and straight to the point your channel is. No rambling like Tai Lopez. @patrick hats off to you. YouTube and the viewers are lucky to have your channel available to everyone.

Patrick, Thank you for taking time out of your life to help people like me.  I WAS an entrepreneur after 10 years in the Navy and sold the business after a little over a year.  Since then, I've been very successful in sales.  I've managed to increase sales and profits for my last five employers.  The most recent, I increased profits by $.5 mil/yr. as an average over 5 yrs.  That was a 50% increase!  That said, your video here about accountability is spot on!  It is what a true leader does and I appreciate your wisdom in your approach in speaking to your staff.  I salute you my friend.  You're an inspiration!

It's amazing how well this old content holds up today. It's criminal that this video has so few views. Thanks Pat for sharing these amazing, incredibly actionable content for us week in week out, and not just telling us how to do it but actually BEING a real-life example of how a real entrepreneur should live.

You can't be afraid of not being liked, you need to cut through the bs and get definite answers, when giving feedback give specific feedback with a timeline and what you want done, work with numbers because they don't lie, give a consequence for the action not being adjusted, guide people as to what they can do to improve, most of all don't forget that they're a person with their own dreams and ambitions

Coming from Sacramento, your comments about DeMarcus Cousins struck a chord with me. I completely agree! I've been telling people the same sort of thing since he arrived and I'm still saying to today. I don't think any of his coaches have held him accountable and it's going to cost him. Great stuff!

I live by personal accountability in all areas of my life not just work. I believe this is how humans become better. It's a matter of honor, integrity and upholding a good name for one's self.

Someone who is accountable is completely responsible for what they do and must be able to give a satisfactory reason for it.

when I was young, we owned a purified water distrubution store(Our water was so pure, the moment you tried our competitors water after ours, you could taste the difference literally) in the philippines drinking tap water would be a guaranteed way to send yourself to the hospital. So, purified water stores were peoples only source for drinking water, In the begining the business was doing well my dad was doing the deliveries him self while my mom took phone calls and orders. We then started hiring employees as we needed to up the production, the PROBLEM was, we started noticing that there were Inconsistencies in the cash flow, deliveries seemed to disapear from record but when we call the customers they say they are still getting water from us and are still paying monthly, IT WAS OUR EMPLOYEES, they were some how stealing money from us though we couldn't figure out how, the moment that delivery van left the store we had no idea what they were doing. so we ended up selling the store for a fraction of our initial capital.

How do you deal with a problem like this, Being in a third world country where you can't simply sue or have them arrested, and when you fire them to get new employees, They too do the same thing because the only people who will be willing to take this job are the people living in the slums, people who have stealing as second nature and don't have the education to know any better.

If you can manage to make a video on this topic, that be great but even just Your thoughts and opinion to a solution on this would be greatly appreciated.

If you see this that means you read my longwinded question, Thank you for taking the time =)
Its inevitable that eventually you'll start racking up the subscribers like wildfire with the quality of the work you are doing. Happy to have stumbled upon your channel =)

Based on your experience with leadership, is there an effective way to instil peer accountability? Where team members are engaging and comfortable enough to hold each other accountable? Or is it a top-down system from leadership onwards? Thank you so much!

Great point about purposefully bringing your energy lower when you're holding someone accountable. I've had people think I'm angry at them when I'm just feeling passionate and intense.
