In this video, Mitsuko Uchida plays and conducts the Camerata Salzburg in a performance of Mozart's piano concerto K. 415 in C major.

One of my favorite Mozart piano concertos, it is one of three full concertos Mozart composed for his subscription concerts, and I think has gotten somewhat of a bad 'rap' from the so called historians. Particularly lovely is the 2nd. movement of K.415

After I listened to this, I come to realize that music is just like the way we communicate with the sacred spirituality that lies in everyone of us. It allows us to see a beautiful side of mind, but it has to be the one with special gift to make others understand like Mozart.

Considering Mozart alone, I strongly believe that in our lifetime Madame Uchida is the one who has utmost understanding, care and feeling to perform Mozart. Live or in the studios it's always the same. Other person I think of is Murray. I have watched and listened to both almost 30 years, but Mitsuko Uchida is second to none about Mozart. By the way, she is SO HUMBLE about her knowledge. I love to listen to her talking about music.
