I feel like the interviewer needs to work on his interview skills. He seems to take things personally. His tone, actions, and way of asking do not encourage the interviewee to give her best.
First, introduce Star Girl and say good about her before you ask her any questions.
Second, don't tell the interviewee that "your responsibility is to ask and her responsibility is to answer." This is not a court case, and you probably not paying them.
Use your skills to get the best out of them not to force them to say it. That's why she couldn't answer very well. I don't blame her.
