Keyword Research with Google Trends (How to Guide)

Google Trends is actually a hidden gold mine for keyword research ideas.

It's a free Google tool that allows you to find niche-specific keywords that are exploding with interest.

The breakouts are all well and good problem is many of those have a very high SEO competition rate and the chances of you ranking anywhere near the first page of Google is almost zero. This is why I dont bother using Google trends. I need a more detailed research tool so that I know exactly where my chances to rank are.
