That's strange! Like who would think a tall narrow trailer with 90% of the weight up top would just flip over like that in a turn?

You should start putting your logos upside down now… might work out better for publicity. 😂😂😂

I’ve got like 3 of them deutz engines laying around. Had no clue they are worth anything

Two things, get a decent welder to put on your hooks and d rings. Those welds look horrible. At the same time, that is a simple machine. Any decent fabricator can make you a new machine using stock steel parts.

I like these video updates but the suitcase ones are the best. I can’t believe he’s still moving forward with that turd

It’s top heavy and the wheel track looks far too narrow for any corner speed.

We trailer all of our screeners on low boy trailers. They are not set up or designed the same as a normal trailer.

you sure those are actually intended to be towed on the road? and not transported on a trailer then towed around site?

I ran a soil company for many years including screening and anything to do with soil, inert and contaminated etc. My advice is pump your profits into a good 2 way trommel to start with. Something with a hopper and a feed in and feed out belt. Yes they are more complex but they can process soil so much faster. There will be some R&M but your returns will be significantly higher. If you can afford something with an interchangeable drum thats even better. 2-3 inch and a 1 inch drum will do most jobs. Once you have that up and running then a 3 way is your next step. Big bucks though. Bigger not always better though. Some of the smaller self propelled units are pretty damn good these days. As for your screeners you have now, keep a good stock of mesh on hand and keep the engines in good order and you should be ok. Just keep that welder warmed up!! Best of luck.

time to transport on a trailer & roll off at site

Paint the blocking plates and the area where they sit as a different color, like yellow. Then it will be easy for people to know where they're meant to go 👍

And maybe put a marking on them "required for transport"

Perhaps your guy "who moves heavy machinery every day" just isn't as good at it as you seem to think he is... A narrow top heavy trailer is basically designed to flip and should be taken into account when making a turn. Its carelessness plain and simple.

At a glance, it seems that it wouldn't take much to make that axle a proper width for a trailer. As it is now, it doesn't really seem like it was designed for road use.

Today Mr Spaghetti buys another pasta strainer and it doesn't go as expected...

That orange screener I doubt was factory made either small shop made or was home made and is a little narrow for the height you'll have issues with it normally axles are same width but they didn't make it wide enough I'd suggest making the axle wider it'll save alot of headaches lol

That machine is 100% boutique made. That number on the front is probably my whole made it. Stuff like that is like mining equipment, made kinda per spec that you want.
