Nice video. I bought the same fan and installed it with no issues, although my remote is white and looks a little different. Maybe they have changed it. I'm curious if you tried to download the app. I noticed that the QR code takes you to a Chinese website and not the Play Store (I'm on Android). I'm a little leary about installing and using an app that's not on the Play Store.

very good video was able to install in minutes but after 3 weeks the remote will not function. new batteries, red light working etc. what am I to do?
