Fantastic video, concise but nothing is overlooked.

I see that this model does not have thru axles. There has been a lot of debate about whether a thru axle is really necessary on a road bike, given that the fork has no shock, and is hence stiffer (torsional) than a MTB suspension fork. Some have also argued that thru axles should be the standard for road disc because it makes aligning the wheel much easier, which is critical with a disc brake. For all theses reasons, I'm wondering why major manufacturers like Cannondale and Giant have not made thru axles the standard on their disc brake equipped bikes.

Did you experience and vibration and squealing from the brakes while braking hard? Does the frame flex enough under a hard standing climb or sprint, such that the disc rotors rub against the pads? Is it tricky to correctly align the wheel so that the brakes won't rub?

I think the large solid spacer is designed to keep the steerer tube more rigid when running the stem up the top. If your going to slam the stem you will chop the steer, giving you all the finer spacers to play with in exchange for the bottom lump?

En lo personal es la Bici mas hermosa que haya visto y estoy seguro por la trayectoria de Cannondale que es sumamente confortable.

I can't make a choise between Cannondale Synapse and Specialized Roubaix. I believed that I'll find some review for Roubaix on your channel, but here is only Synapse :) I've tried brevets in 2014 on my mtb hardtail and I really loved it. Now I want to buy a road bike for brevets and may be for some little 1-2 day long trips. I live in Russia and we don't have so smooth roads here, thats why I thinking about Roubaix, called very smooth on every review I've read. But they've got not so good components on the same price (Cannondale got ~105 there Specialized got ~Sora, I'm looking for a bike ~2k euro). May be you've got some ideas for Roubaix reviews soon?

Sorry for any mistakes, I'm too lazy to use a translator :) And thanks for very interesting videos on your channel :) Good job :)

Finally proper hydraulics on road bikes, coming from mountain biking rim brakes sure seem old fashioned, nice machine!

Got this bike due to this review. The review is true to the bike. I love it. One thing is whats mentioned at the end of the vid is about spacer. Cannondale actually recommends no spacers above he stem. The stem cap should be place only on the stem. Why? Also I see on this video that all spacers below have been removed and only the larger one left on the top. Have you consulted Cannondale before doing this? thanks

What's your opinion about the 2015 trek 4.5 disc? Would you buy it over this one? Which is the better?
Thanks!

So... I noticed the cabin team doesn't race the Why is that? Is the new super six just that good where we shouldn't even look at the synapse?

Its a little bit over my budget. When do bikes usually be on sale?

Great video, informative and well made. BUT - over the last few of these reviews, the bikes reviewed have been sub 2k - ie, affordable for even the average Joe when considering a finance deal. Why have all 3 so far been 2k and above? Is it because the step up to disks is that worthwhile? Or anything else? i'll be in the market for a new bike toward the end of the year so these may be cheaper in end-of-season sales so i'm not picking fault - its a genuine query. Cheers.

Is there enough clearance for 30mm tires?
Thanks.

The BB does not 'move the cranks outboard'.  The crank spacing is entirely dictated by the axle length.  Unless they are using a different SiSL2 axle (longer than standard), the BB width does not do what you way it does.

Could you guys please do a review on the CAAD X?  I am looking to buy a 2015 CAAD X Sora.  The CAAD X 105 is $500 more than the Sora.

This would be a better bike without the disc brakes, and less expensive. It seems Bike Radar are very sold on and even promoting disc brakes but I'm not sure the market agrees. I just don't think they belong on a road bike and I have many others share that opinion.

Why would demonstrate a cannondale while the rider is whearing a ridley outfit??

Don't understand why you show a dirty bike with no pedals o_O

It's a downgrade to ultegra. Don't say it's not. That's ridiculous. Best shoot an email off to Tour de France riders and let them know eh?
