The eyes are often called the windows to your soul, but in reality, the eyes are a window to you overall health. There are many health conditions that reveal themselves through the eyes.

What your eyes say about you goes much deeper than just your mood. Your eyes tell can tell a professional if you have inflammation developing in your body, if you may have cancer, diabetes, thyroid disease and even multiples sclerosis. We can even tell if someone is using drugs or medications by looking at their eyes.

My great granddaughter had the eye cancer. Her mother noticed the white eye in a photo at 18 month. That was 16 years ago. Last year she was able to get her driver's license. She is now in college.

We noticed one eye had a "white pupil" in my 4 month old nephew. Unfortunately, it was retnoblastoma. He lost that eye. Now, he's a successful, married 28 year old. ☺️

Cataracts can also be caused by chemo and radiation after brain cancer treatment as well. My cousin was only 6 when we found out she had brain cancer, doctors said it was the size of a golf ball right up against her spine. Gladly they got it all and she's cancer free, she is 17 and doing well. She has to have braces for both feet, hearing aids and strong prescribed glasses after she went through two cataract surgeries. I'm still glad to have her here😊

I never knew I was going blind due to blunt force trauma to the head. I finally have surgery next month! I can’t wait to see again.

My aunt had cancer in her eye, she beat it, it was her second time beating cancer, the first was in her throat. Unfortunately, she later developed ALS and passed away. Strongest, smartest and kindest woman I'll ever know. May she be resting in peace, she'll forever be missed 💗

Oh! When I was a baby my mom saw in a picture that my eye looked weird so she took me to the doctor. Turned out that I had cancer in my eye. It’s gone now but I’m blind in my right eye because of it. I made some friends that had the same cancer as me and 2 of them ended up getting a fake eye, and one of them had it in both eyes so now she’s completely blind. 👁️

I had cataracts in both eyes and was clinically blind. I started noticing an issue with my eye sight when I was 58. That was three years after I had an eye injury. The eye doctor said that I might develop a scar on my eye. When I was 58, I went to see an eye doctor for new glasses but there wasn't an improvement. I went to another eye doctor and I had the same issue, no improvement. So I ended up seeing a specialist and that's when I found out that I was going blind. I had surgery and have good eyesight now and no longer need glasses, except cheaters for up close. I got one surgery a month before my birthday and the other after my birthday. December and January.
I was 61. My birthday is in a few weeks, I'll be 62.

I had cataracts at 36 yrs old. I had cataract surgery at 37yrs old and it fixed my vision

I had detached retina, macular degeneration and cataracts 3yrs ago. NHS saved my sight n I had eye test last week. My eye looks normal. So I hope this eases fears anyone may have. You won't feel surgery as you sleep until the end and you'll have eye drops and regular checks that your eye is healing.

One of my nieces was diagnosed with that retinal cancer when she was a toddler. People noticed that in all of her photos, both eyes used to look the same, but suddenly one eye always had a glare in the pupil while the other eye almost never had the glare as from a camera flash. The normal eye only had glare if the flash caught it just right. So her mom took her to the pediatrician, and she ended up having the eye removed. She's doing well in life as a young adult with a glass eye. You wouldn't even know it until her actual eye moves and the other one doesn't move with it.
