I *loved* seeing how much more vibrant, confident and fun Yasuda is now that she can sleep, and eat, and not be so stressed. lol

I'm a doctor and I love calling my patients by their first name and cuddling with them (if they want to). I'm a vet though so even if it's enjoyable to me, I also do it to reassure them :)

Midori is so good, I have seen her in several things and she is consistently compelling to watch.

Mr. Sutton😂
They literally named him after his wife in the bold type😂

Actually it's very awkward for the presentation to be done in front of them everyday. I work on a surgical unit and all presentations are done outside of the room

I wish Doctors didn't do these presentations in front of patients. I was 12 and had partial paralysis. I was hospitalized for two weeks and had a group of med students, led by a senior doctor, coming in, staring at me, taking notes and talking amongst themselves. I was so scared and I hated it because they barely spoke to me and I genuinely felt like an object on display. I know I know, it sounds like a boohoo sob story but it really sucked at the time

I get what she is saying, but they don't actually need to be in that room to talk about his case, especially if it causes him undue stress and anxiety

I always thank the Dr. That us treating me or my family member. I thank them for putting forth the effort and dedication to the long education.

love these new interns! Yasuda is something else with enough sleep and eat and rest-says a lot about reality too

Patients are people, and treating them as such makes you a better doctor.

This is honestly one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. Not a fan of most of the new team, but I absolutely love Yasuda.

when i was hospitalized they did the presentation right outisde my door, i coudlnt hear them at all even with the door open, me personally i would have liked it if they did do it in theyre where i could hear them because it’s been 2 years since my visit & i still don’t know much about what was happening i was 13 at the time though so they weren’t really required to tell me anything

Best case -- ask the patient if they want to be talked over. Some - like me - a nurse would prefer to hear what they are saying, in case there needs to be additions or corrections.

I just can't even get into these clips that I loved watching after seeing the season finale. 😪 I will not be okay until the fall....and we find out what/or where they're going with the cliffhanger they left us with.

It was scary enough with the private plane bs, I had legit flashbacks to the season of the crash & losing beloved characters.

One time a therapist tried this with me when I asked to be friends. Asked me her last name. I eagerly answered, making the conversation awkward.

It was a hard conversation to have to explain to me why a relationship outside of therapy was inappropriate, but she was a good therapist and we got there in the end.

So if you're a professional thinking about relying on this "what's my name" gambit in this situation...be damn sure it's not on your business card is all I'm saying.

My doctor asks to call her Dr. Hannah cause it’s professional and yet comforting to patients

Get used to it. Women are enforcing boundaries. It's a beautiful thing!
