Ajja - Bazinga (2023 Revamp)

Available as a free download on Ajja's Bandcamp page:

This is an updated mix of "Bazinga", one of Ajja's most popular tracks from his groundbreaking 2012 album "Tulpa". The bass was replaced and the entire mix was rebalanced to make it easier to blend into his live sets. Although some will still prefer the original mix (as does Ajja in some situations), music lovers and DJs around the world will most likely be pleased to have this enhanced version to add to their auditory palette of Ajja's sounds.

Ajja i ❤ your old Sound, it was so magic, pulsar, mashroom and Forest. It was my best time in 2012 and 2013. The Sound was deep and Light with darknes and mashroom magic. Your Sound can Help and awake all the seven Chakras. Om MANE PADME HUM om

Awesome sound design. You are realy good in making sounds 3 dimensional. Is it special reverberator or chorus? That sound on 6:44 what synth is it?

I still prefer the older version for some reason, the kick nd bass in that is so minimal, clean nd driving but this is dope too🔥 feels a bit more commercial

im wondering why this got reworked? leads seem to be way more forward.. well louder 😄 that squeeky lead at 5:42 for example used to be balanced to the short delayed ping pong talky lead but now really dominates the soundscape

and the much rounder bassline especially the kick has less thump and transient, especially the rhythm of the bassline around that same part (especially 6:02) made this, to me, one of the most legendary forest basslines out there, i'd dare to say that sound inspired many and changed the forest genre.. along with the rest of the album ofc 🙃

but in this version it is pushed way more to the back, so I'm curious why this was changed, better on larger systems? i must have seen Ajja a dozen times in the summers of 2012/2013 and it always hit on every system, among them Boom and Ozora.. and even though Ozora doesn't even have the greatest system, it still hit the bullseye

so im leaning towards aesthetically? to tame the forest aspect and make it more daytime? I'm more a night time person so I'm very biased here lol but I'm sure there's a good reason, Ajja never fails to impress, curious to see this live
