There are many side effects of the medication, Prednisone, that is used to treat myositis diseases, so the patient won’t stay on it for long. I am pretty sure, about 100 % that I have this. But my doctor does not wan to check or listen. I with all the exercise I do I have bad swelling after, and fatigue. I have now been dealing with this for many years with no treatment. I am glad I looked up info about this as I have researched and read all the info, but I wanted to heat a doctor say it. Thank you for this info.
