I have this car, the Distinctive model. I agree with you, the drivetrain is not good when you want to use the power it has. Granted it's not a performance SUV, but the 145 kw it has can be dangerous for an average driver. There is another setting for the steering wheel, though. But still, the Polo handling is better in my opinion.

Overall, I love the car. It's very comfortable, even on the gravel road. To get a better fuel consumption, you must be light footed. Don't go over 2000rpm, that's the trick we learnt.

Another thing about the Chinese, they want every part of the car to be from China. They manage to keep the price low with that, but they need to open up to the aftermarket parts of they want to gain prominence in the car industry.

My monthly cost is R7952 installment plus R1511 insurance. No balloon. Petrol varies

WHEN Chery gets the fuel consumption right, it's game over. This car will be hard to beat in its segment

@MrHowMuch, I've been saying the same thing 🔥😅, a hatch would sell by Cherry South Africa, or a sedan, there's not a lot of sedans in the market (affordable ones might I add) it's just your BMW's etc, premium sedans that sell and Cherry could sort of fill in that gap. but yeah, proper stuff sir, proper stuff 🔥
