The writer and director deserve tons of appreciation. The start of the drama was Noor Jahan’s birthday and the end will be the same. Poetic justice. They made a typical saas-bahu drama into a revenge thriller on power dynamics of a matriarch. Wonderful. Kudos to director for changing the title card to signify Noor Bano’s victory by Noor Jahan abdicating her throne. Absolutely magnificent

In the era of stupid dramas, this one is really well written and directed. No extra acting no extra cringe, straight forward. It really gives an important message, that daughter is not a burden but a blessing, and your daughter-in-law is also someone's daughter so treat her better.
